From EASO to EUAA - The training materials and other relevant content on this platform were originally created by the European Asylum Support Office (EASO), which has since become the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA)
Welcome to the EUAA Learning Portal (UAT)
The Virtual Learning Environment of the European Union Agency for Asylum.
We are giving our existing trainers the opportunity to
become EUAA certified trainers so that they can then deliver certified modules
to learners. Certified modules are followed by an assessment which allows the
learner to demonstrate the achievement of the intended learning outcomes.
This is a framework by which the extensive mapping of job-tasks for asylum officials and the identification of the knowledge, skill, responsibility and autonomy necessary to perform these job-tasks (occupational standards) allows for the alignment of the required learning (educational standards).
The Agency's core training tool is the European Asylum Curriculum (EAC), a
common vocational training system designed mainly for case officers and
other asylum officials throughout the EU. The Curriculum covers core aspects
of the asylum procedure by means of a number of interactive modules. A
blended learning methodology, combining online e-learning format and face-
to-face sessions, enables both theoretical and practical approaches to
training.

The implementation of the EU asylum acquis could not have been done without the EASO Training Curriculum.
The e-learning session is educational/pedagogic and interactive. The face-to-face session is interesting and keeps people interested.
I am strongly satisfied with the EASO Learning Management System.
I have found the interface to be user friendly and complete in its functionalities.
Would like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to explore and gain knowledge.
